Park News - (1/21/10) A rumor going around claims that Galaxyland has removed the Sonic Storm and Galaxy Twister rides… and may replace them both with a single ride called “Sonic Twister”. Can anyone confirm this? Galaxy Twister is still listed on the official website, but Sonic Storm is not.
(3/11/09) Theme Park Review has posted a new update from Galaxyland, showing off a video of the Mindbender this week, which is perhaps one of the most interesting Schwarzkopf coaster creations. This video includes a full front-car mounted POV shot of the entire ride and a reverse-mounted POV shot from the back car. It also showing off a great look at the ride’s unique three-car trains that feature two forward facing cards with the back car facing backwards.  2010 - Sonic Twister - (2/24/10) Screamscape has been informed that the new Sonic Twister ride is one of the smaller model Moser SideWinder rides. You can see a picture of the new ride in action here.
(2/23/10) I’ve heard that the new Sonic Twister has opened at Galaxyland, though I’ve yet to see a picture of it or to find out exactly what kind of new flat ride it is. Meanwhile I’ve also heard that a second new attraction is on the way to the park… though I’m not sure if it will be ready until later this year or if they’ll wait until next season. Anyone know more about either?
